The Initial Registration Window • Date:  • Time:  • Location:  Monday – Friday   March 9-13, 2026 12:00 Noon – 3:00 PM Elementary Schools Open Enrollment for School of Choice / Out of Zone Students If you want your Kindergarten child to attend a school out of your residing attendance zone, please complete the Controlled Open Enrollment Application.  This application is available through March 6, 2026.  Access this information from www.jcsb.org, access the information using the Parents Icon just below the streaming pictures on the homepage.  Once on this page, access “Controlled Open Enrollment for School Choice” on the right-hand side menu.  • If the parent does not have internet access, please provide them a place to fill out the school choice form while at your school. • The deadline for School of Choice/Out of Zone Open Enrollment documentation to be submitted ONLINE is March 6, 2026. Parents Should Bring the Following Documentation ✓ Child’s certified birth certificate ✓ Child’s social security card ✓ School Entry Health Exam (Dated no earlier than August 12, 2025) ✓ Florida Certificate of Immunizations or Exemption ✓ Proof of physical address  In addition to this initial registration period, kindergarten registration will continue through the summer at the student’s zoned school.  Thank you for providing a pleasant, helpful experience for the parents of our new students during this registration process.
