Jackson County School District to Host Town Hall on Proposed 8th Grade Campus Transition from Marianna K-8 School to Marianna High School

Superintendent of Schools Hunter Nolen and the members of the Jackson County School Board will host a Town Hall meeting to present information and engage in community discussion regarding the possible transition of 8th grade students from Marianna K-8 School to the Marianna High School campus beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. 

The Town Hall will provide an opportunity for parents, guardians, and community partners to learn more about the proposal, ask questions, and share feedback. School Board members will be in attendance to listen to community input and participate in the discussion. 

Please note that while Board members will be present, no official vote or Board action will take place during this meeting.
